Cobblemon family server
How to play
This is a modded Minecraft Java server. Do not use the official Minecraft Launcher “Latest Release.” Use the Modrinth App with Minecraft 1.21.1 and the server mods zip below.

Join only after launching the matching Fabric 1.21.1 instance. Default port 25565. Each kid needs their own Microsoft / Java account — one account cannot stay online on two PCs at once.
1. Install the Modrinth App
- Download and install the Modrinth App.
- Sign in with that player’s Microsoft account (their Java username).
2. Download the server mods
Fastest setup: create a new Fabric 1.21.1 instance, then unzip this pack into its mods folder. Do not drop it on top of the official Cobblemon pack — leftover duplicates will crash the game.
63 jars from the live server. Unzip, then copy every .jar into the instance mods folder.
- In Modrinth, create an instance: Minecraft 1.21.1, loader Fabric.
- Set memory to 6 GB minimum (8 GB preferred).
- Download the zip above, unzip it, and paste the jars into that instance’s
modsfolder. - Do not click “Update all mods.”
3. Or add extra mods by hand
Only if you already installed Cobblemon Official Fabric 1.7.3. Instance → Mods → add from the links below. Versions must match. Do not click “Update all mods.”

Skip Cobblemon Show Held Items. If Waystones is still on 21.1.41, update it to 21.1.42 using the link above — that mismatch is the usual kick reason.
4. Join the server
- Launch the Fabric 1.21.1 instance that has the downloaded jars (or the Cobblemon 1.7.3 pack plus extras).
- Multiplayer → Add Server →
minecraft.techhand.pro - Join with that player’s whitelisted Java username.
Common fixes
“Version mismatch for waystones”
Server wants 21.1.42. Install Waystones 21.1.42, then relaunch.
Farmer's Delight wants Fabric Loader 0.19
- Remove Farmer’s Delight 3.x.
- Install 1.21.1-2.4.0 only.
- Never use “Update all mods.”
- One account, two PCs: logging in elsewhere kicks the first session. Each kid needs their own account.
- Not whitelisted: submit the Java username below.
- Bedrock / phones / consoles cannot join.
Ask to join the whitelist
Enter your Minecraft Java username. A parent will approve it before you can play.
This is the name on the Minecraft title screen — not Xbox or a nickname.
